To some it was the fall festival, to others the Snowfest and to a motley group it was the Troll House Jam. The day was chosen the same way it is every year - first Sunday of October. Trollhaugen's Open House. This day was blessed. Prayers were answered and out of nowhere the temp dropped significantly after a typical Fall day, and snow was being made the morning of October 7! A jam planned to be a rail/box duo on ice shavings became a hill covered with a blanket of snow and a little of everything else in in the toy chest. The House Boardshop, the FL Project, Flow snowboarding and what seemed like every company and group in the snow community came out to say hello and throw in some sick swag. The Chair lift rides, food, zip line rides... it was a fun day to welcome the coming season together.
